Active Learning

LSC Language Studies Canada’s Active Learning Programme helps you learn -throughout your stay in Canada. In class, we focus on communication and teach listening, speaking, reading and writing. We want you to practice your language skills both inside and outside of the classroom, as this is the best way for you to improve. To help, a school-wide English/French only policy makes sure that you are only hearing and speaking the language you are learning. Our great international student mix helps you to make friends with people from other countries – you must use the language you are studying to communicate.

LSC has a homestay programme. Living with a Canadian family gives you more chance to participate in Canadian life and practice your English/French.
You can join LSC activities, and experience the city and country. An LSC staff member will accompany you to different events, cultural activities and tourist sights. You, along with your classmates and friends, will learn and experience more outside of the classroom.
