Learn French: Course Overviews

At Language Studies Canada, we offer a full range of programmes in English and French. Our programmes are practical, informative and enjoyable. At LSC, you learn to communicate effectively by focusing on the four basic language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

General French

Effective communication in another language requires a blend of the four basic language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Classes at LSC are designed to be highly practical, informative and enjoyable.

Co-Op Program

Combine your language learning at LSC with a volunteer placement in a Canadian company to expand your abilities in a real-life situation. If you are of high-intermediate ability, you can become a Co-Op student. The volunteer assignment is available in English at LSC Calgary, LSC Toronto and LSC Vancouver. At LSC Montréal, the experience is bilingual - French and English!

One-to-One

LSC provides private courses on an individual basis. The custom-designed programme is arranged to suit specific needs in terms of course length, schedule and content.

Montreal Language Adventure

Montreal Language Adventure is a junior programme for students 13-17 years old. It offers a range of entertaining and meaningful activities. The focus is on language instruction in English or French in a small-group setting. Speaking and listening take priority.
